![]() You want to make sure no voltage is going to your moca adapters or modems. ![]() Make sure you don't have any amps in your network as they do not work with moca unless you have one designed specifically for it, even unity gain amps are bad for moca. You can get splitters designed to be used with moca (5~1675MHz) however 5~1002MHz splitters should work just fine. Next make sure you don't have to many splitters or large splitters that lose lots of db at each port. It is essential for moca to work properly. Moto modems are 192.168.100.1, next get a moca poe filter. Go to your modems config page and look at the signal levels and snr values. Your pc tried to look up what say is and never heard back from a resolver so it couldnt do anything. It is telling you that there is no connection to the internet. The following is the network diagram it's not very complicated. As soon as I unplug the MOCA device, the network won't have any issues. My work laptop will have trouble connecting, as will my iPhone. However, if I open a browser on my Plex server, I will get the same issue. I thought maybe it was my main PC, so I did some ipconfig release, renew, refresh and a couple of other recommended things like flushing the DNS. There are some other errors, but it typically starts with DNS_PROBE. For example, on my primary PC, I will consistently get a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET. When the MOCA device is connected to the router, my other devices will experience intermittent connections. The wireless down there is ok, but it can use improvement especially when trying to stream movies, from a Plex server. I recently installed 2 MOCA sets to get the network extended to my first floor.
